ArtCraft AI: from creative assets to talking videos
Looking for ArtCraft? Start with the official AI studio, downloads and open-source apps below. If your next task is making an exported character speak to your audio, follow the LipSyncX workflow on this page.
LipSyncX is a separate service, unaffiliated with ArtCraft. This guide describes a manual file workflow; there is no direct integration.
What is ArtCraft, and which app do you need?
In this guide, ArtCraft means the creative software at getartcraft.com. The name also appears in unrelated lighting, printing and font searches; those are different products.
The AI image and video studio
ArtCraft combines AI generation with visual control over images and scenes. Its official project describes 2D composition, 3D staging and image-to-video workflows. Use it to design a character or shot before adding dialogue.
ArtCraft project overviewThe open-source Crafting Apps
PhotoCraft is an image editor; FilmCraft is a video editor. These belong to a wider app family and are distinct from the AI studio. Several are marked early alpha or in development, so check the app's current release before relying on it for a project.
Crafting Apps and release statusOfficial website, web app and downloads
Use the project's own links to find the app you intended. Follow the download page for current installers and availability; a Crafting App installer and the ArtCraft AI studio are different downloads.
ArtCraft or LipSyncX? Choose by the job
Choose a creative editor for building the scene and an audio-driven workflow when the scene needs dialogue. LipSyncX does not replace a layered image editor or a full video timeline.

How to make an ArtCraft character speak with LipSyncX
The handoff is an exported media file, not an ArtCraft project file. Start with one short test clip to check whether your character's face works well with the selected lip-sync model.
- 1
Create and export your character
Prepare a clear portrait or a short character clip in your creative tool. Export a standard image or video file, such as PNG, JPG or MP4. Keep the mouth visible, avoid profile views and use one main face for your first test.
- 2
Add the image or clip and a voice
Open LipSyncX Studio, upload the exported file, then add clean speech audio or enter a script. Match the voice duration to the intended shot. Review the selected model's input limits and displayed credit estimate before generating.
- 3
Preview and return to your editor
Watch the mouth timing, teeth, face edges and character consistency. If the face distorts, try a clearer crop or a more front-facing source. Download the result and import the clip into your video editor to add titles, music and other shots.
Use rendered files, keep your project in the editor
A layered canvas, 3D scene or FilmCraft project is not the lip-sync input. Render or export the media first. File limits and supported inputs depend on the model shown in Studio. Use images, voices and likenesses you have permission to use.
Example brief: a speaking illustrated host
Create a front-facing illustrated host with an unobstructed mouth. Export the portrait, record a short welcome line and generate a test in Studio. Put the speaking clip over your title card in the editor. This is a workflow example, not a tested ArtCraft export or a guarantee for every illustration style.

This existing LipSyncX demo shows the kind of speaking output to evaluate. It was not made from a verified ArtCraft source. Test your own exported asset before committing to a longer scene.
What is free, and what needs generation credits?
ArtCraft software and AI generation
Free or open-source software does not mean unlimited free inference. ArtCraft's pricing page lists paid generation plans and credit packs, alongside options to use your own compute or third-party subscriptions. Check current terms for your chosen setup.
Check ArtCraft pricingLipSyncX generation costs
LipSyncX is a separate credit-based service. Your cost depends on the selected model, duration and output settings. Review the estimate in Studio and current pricing before rendering; buying ArtCraft credits does not fund LipSyncX jobs.

Where is the official ArtCraft website?
The AI creative software website is getartcraft.com, with its browser app at app.getartcraft.com and source code under storytold/artcraft on GitHub. Use official pages to find current downloads.
Is ArtCraft the same as PhotoCraft or FilmCraft?
They are related, but separate apps. ArtCraft is the AI creative studio; PhotoCraft and FilmCraft are image and video editors in the Crafting Apps family. Pick the app that matches your task.
Can I use ArtCraft images in LipSyncX?
You can upload a standard exported image or video if it meets the selected model's requirements and you have the necessary rights. LipSyncX does not import ArtCraft project files or connect directly to your ArtCraft account.
Does ArtCraft support lip sync?
Capabilities depend on the current app and model. The official pages reviewed here describe broad image, video and editing workflows; this guide does not verify every audio feature. For the workflow on this page, export media and use LipSyncX to match it to speech.
Is the whole workflow free?
No unlimited free workflow is promised. App downloads, AI generation and LipSyncX rendering have different terms. Check ArtCraft's pricing and the LipSyncX credit estimate before paying or generating.
Will any illustrated character work?
Results vary. A clear, front-facing face and visible mouth are a better starting point than a tiny face, a profile view or an abstract character. Make a short test and review it before generating a full scene.
